WHAT WE DO

We believe that everyone should have access to mental health services, which is why we're so proud to offer free mental health counselling in Pembrokeshire.

Whether it's through weekly meetings with our counsellors, or attending one of our workshops, our qualified team are here to chat.

We're based at 19 Market Street in Haverfordwest, but remote online sessions are also available to make sure you can access our services wherever you live in Pembrokeshire.

How do we provide these services for free?

We’re part of PATH (Pembrokeshire Action for the Homeless), a homelessness charity who have been developing services to help those at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness for over 40 years.

Although our counselling is part of this aim to reduce homelessness, it is open to absolutely anyone who needs help.

COUNSELLING IS FOR EVERYONE

Our counselling sessions can help with a variety of mental health issues. Whether you'd consider your problems to be mild or severe, our team will be able to help you.

You don't have to be facing homelessness to access our mental health services.

Pathway Counselling was started because at PATH we know that the risk of homelessness can be reduced with the right type of counselling.

The cycle of homelessness often worsens existing mental health issues, making it increasingly challenging for individuals to secure permanent housing.

However, we are now seeing an increase in need for mental health support with the prohibitive cost of housing options and the overall cost of living crisis.

We have now expanded our services to offer mental health support to everyone.

Sessions are purely on a one-to-one basis and can be held in-person or remotely online.

Ultimately, we want to get you to the point where you feel happy and confident without the need for counselling, but we're here for you every step of the way until you achieve that.

With over a dozen counsellors on our team we have increased capacity to take on new clients, so please don't hesitate to contact us.
